MC Montclair Fence Builder is a licensed fence contractor based in Montclair, CA. We provide residential and commercial fence installation, repair, replacement, and related gate and fencing services in Montclair and surrounding communities in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.
Services are performed by our crew at your property location. All services are subject to an on-site assessment and a written estimate before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates are provided in writing after an on-site visit to your property. Estimates reflect the scope of work as understood at the time of the visit and include all known materials, labor, and applicable fees.
An estimate is not a final contract. Prices may change if the actual scope of work differs from what was discussed - for example, if additional fence removal is discovered, if soil conditions require additional equipment, or if a permit fee changes before the work begins. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
Verbal estimates or ranges discussed by phone are approximations only. The written estimate is the binding document. You are under no obligation to proceed after receiving an estimate.
We schedule on-site estimate visits and project start dates by mutual agreement. We will provide a confirmed date and estimated time window for your appointment.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee, particularly if materials have already been ordered or prepared for your project.
We may need to reschedule due to weather, permit delays, crew availability, or other factors outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available date.
Payment terms are outlined in the written contract or agreement provided before work begins. In general, a deposit may be required to secure your project start date and cover material costs. The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the work.
Accepted payment methods are specified in your written agreement. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as described in your contract.
You agree not to withhold payment for minor punch-list items that have been acknowledged and scheduled for correction. Payment is due in full upon project completion unless a specific payment plan has been agreed to in writing.
As the property owner or authorized representative, you are responsible for:
Where required, we will apply for the necessary building permits from the applicable city or county building department on your behalf. Permit fees are the responsibility of the property owner and are included in your written estimate when known.
Work will not begin until required permits are issued. We are not responsible for delays caused by permit processing times or agency backlogs. If a permit application is rejected due to information provided by you (such as incorrect property dimensions or boundary data), any resubmission fees are the responsibility of the property owner.
We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty on labor or installation is described in your written project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials (such as vinyl fence panels or gate hardware) are governed by the respective manufacturer, not by MC Montclair Fence Builder.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by: Acts of nature including wind, flooding, or earthquakes; soil movement or settling not related to installation; vandalism, vehicle impact, or third-party damage; or failure to follow recommended maintenance guidelines.
Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the information on our website is complete, accurate, or current at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MC Montclair Fence Builder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or from our services - including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property beyond the scope of the services we performed.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
